Privacy Policy

StormPrepper is a static website run by a small independent publisher. We collect as little about you as we can get away with — this page explains exactly what that is.

What we collect

• Nothing by default. Reading articles does not require an account, and we do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Ever.
• Email address, only if you subscribe. If you join the newsletter list, we store your email address to send you the seasonal checklist and new-article notifications. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing removes you from the list.
• Aggregate traffic statistics. Like most sites, we may use privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages are read and roughly where traffic comes from (country/region level). This data is aggregated — it is not used to build a profile of you.

Affiliate links and third-party cookies

When you click an affiliate link (for example, to EcoFlow, Jackery, or Amazon), you leave StormPrepper and land on the retailer's site. That retailer may set cookies to attribute the sale to us, and their own privacy policy governs what they collect from that point on. We do not control their cookies and we do not receive information about what you personally bought — only aggregate commission reports.

Cookies on this site

This site itself is static and sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. If we add features that require cookies in the future, we will update this page before they go live.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time with one click.
• Ask us to delete your email address entirely — contact us and we'll remove it.
• Use your browser's controls to block third-party cookies on retailer sites.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and note the change in the newsletter.
